The futuristic 2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Concept needs to become a production vehicle, as it’s based on a two-door 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It’s been upgraded with a custom-built axial flux electric motor capable of up to 6,000 rpm generating 285 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque in standard mode, mated to a six-speed manual transmission for precise control.

Unlike its predecessors, Magneto 3.0 feautres three driver selectable function including an output select that enables the driver to choose between two power settings (standard: 285 horsepower/273 lb.-ft. of torque; maximum: 650 horsepower/900 lb.-ft. of torque). There’s also a two-stage power regeneration mode for normal driving when off, or enhanced brake regeneration using the electric motor when engaged. Dynatrac 60 front axles (5.38:1 ratio), Dynatrac 80 rear axles (5.38:1 ratio), 20-inch off-road beadlock wheels, 40-inch mud terrain tires and a custom 3-inch lift, allow the Magneto 3.0 to go anywhere, literally.
