The 2023 Hyundai Grandeur has made its debut, revealing a bold and upmarket design for the executive sedan – but an Australian launch is unlikely.
The seventh-generation Grandeur was unveiled in its home country of South Korea as the flagship within the Hyundai line-up, but taking inspiration from the first-generation model of the 1980s through a number of design cues.
Like the original Grandeur – based on the Japanese-market Mitsubishi Debonair – the all-new model features an upright front end and pronounced quarter glass at the rear pillars, along with a full-width rear tail-lamp.
The new Grandeur also enjoys frameless doors and automatic flush door handles, LED lighting front and rear, and wheels up to 20 inches in diameter.
